Marklife P15 Quick Start Guide

Quick start guide for the Marklife P15 label printer — loading paper, app pairing, creating labels, label sizes, replacing consumables and time settings.

Marklife P15 label printer

First time using

Please open the paper compartment cover and put the paper on top of the printer. After closing the paper compartment cover, the paper will expose a short section of the printer, as shown in the figure:

Only one side of the printing paper can be printed. Please place the printing paper in the correct direction.

Power indicator status

  • Steady green light: power on / standby / charge completed
  • Red light on: charging / out of paper / overheating / opening the cover
  • Red light flashing: low battery will cause weak printing — please charge in time
  • Blue light on: Bluetooth paired

Please search for "Marklife" in the App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR code below to download.

Settings

After entering the app, click to search for Bluetooth devices, then click to connect.

Please do not search for and connect the Bluetooth printer in your mobile phone's Bluetooth settings.

Bluetooth connection

This product does not support pairing in the mobile phone. Please turn on Bluetooth and LINK from the app homepage.

When using an Android smartphone, please allow it to be used. Then, when paired, the GPS smartphone automatically detects the printer's Bluetooth number and connects. When GPS is turned off, a smartphone's Bluetooth may not be able to detect the printer.

Scan the QR code/bar code on the label (packaging), or select your label on the Select Paper Type screen, and start creating the label.

When using or replacing labels for the first time, make sure the size of the label is the same as the paper size you set in your application. The attached label roll is 40*12mm.

Replacement of consumables

  1. Opening the cover: in the direction of the arrow as shown, press the cover opening button to open the cover.
  2. Consumables: in the direction shown in the figure, put the heat-sensitive surface of the paper on the same side as the heat-sensitive head.

Safety and precautions

  1. There is a built-in lithium battery. Please do not use it in an environment with a temperature higher than 40°C; keep it away from fire and other heat sources, and do not place it in the hot sun, such as in a closed car.
  2. Children should be charged and used under the supervision of adults. After a full charge, please make sure to pull out the charging cable in time to prevent overheating, short circuit or fire.
  3. Do not put the product in fire or water, to avoid battery short circuit, fire or burns.
  4. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C. Please do not exceed the recommended temperature range.

To avoid damage, do not touch the print head (the part below the tool) directly. Especially to prevent overheating or burns, do not touch the print head immediately after printing.

About display language settings

To change the display language of the app, in the label software, in the lower-right corner of the home page, go to "My" → "System Settings" → "Language Selection", and select the system language to be modified.

About time setting

Click the image of the printer in the upper-left corner of the home page to display the "Printer Connected" interface, then enter the "Device Settings" interface.

  1. Click "Time Calibration" (= time synchronization) at the bottom, and the displayed time will be consistent with the time on the machine screen.
  2. Click the blank column of "Countdown" at the bottom and fill in the time period to be counted down. After filling it in, click the power button of the machine to use the countdown function.

For example, after you enter 5, the printer monitor displays 00:05. Press the printer's power button once to start a 5-second countdown. When stopping the countdown function, click "Time Calibration" (= time synchronization) above, and the display will resume the normal time display.
